Assessment and Move on Worker

My client is recruiting for a Assessment and Move on Worker based within the local Authority in North London and the surrounding area.
Responsibilities

• To be responsible to the management team for day to day delivery of the service and to work with clients around their immediate support needs
• To carry out comprehensive client assessment and draw up the effective action and safety plans with clients 
• To provide advice to client on their re connection and accommodation options
• To keep abreast of current housing legislation's

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience in using IT
• A good understanding of relevant legislation's housing act 1996 , mental health act 19983, care act 2014 and experience of safeguarding 
• Understanding of and commitment to diversity and equality 
• Experience of working with people experience homelessness and whorking with them to achieve good outcomes.

Contract 

• Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend 
• PAYE via Umbrella 
• Monday to Friday
• 9am to 5pm 

As the role is Local Authority based candidates will be asked to complete an onboarding & compliance checks including DBS & Online training modules prior to starting.
