Shift Engineer
We are currently seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join a dedicated facilities team within a healthcare environment. This is a key role involving the maintenance, repair, and installation of a wide range of engineering systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building services.
Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs, installation work, and planned maintenance across multiple disciplines.
• Diagnose and repair faults in complex engineering plant, equipment, and systems.
• Continuously develop knowledge and skills relevant to all Building and Engineering systems across Trust sites.
• Carry appropriate communications equipment (e.g., bleep, mobile phone, handheld radio) to ensure rapid response during both normal and emergency situations.
• Ensure clear and concise shift handover briefings to maintain service continuity and inform the incoming team of current engineering status.
• Support the implementation of ongoing improvements aligned with Healthcare Standards.
