Job Title: Housing Officer
Location: North West London
Contract Type: Temporary – 3 Months Ongoing
Pay Rate: £27.70 per hour (Umbrella)
Working Pattern: Full-time, Hybrid position (2-3 days in office)
Role Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join a busy team in North West London. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality housing management services, supporting residents across mixed-tenure properties, and ensuring safe, sustainable communities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident in handling tenancy issues, customer-facing work, and working proactively to prevent tenancy breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities • Manage a patch of properties, delivering day-to-day tenancy management
• Respond to reports of anti-social behaviour and carry out investigations
• Support residents to sustain their tenancies through early intervention
• Conduct tenancy audits, estate inspections and home visits
• Work closely with support services, contractors, and external agencies
• Manage safeguarding concerns and escalate where necessary
• Handle complaints, rent-related queries, successions, and tenancy changes
• Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR and policy requirements
Requirements • Previous Housing Officer / Tenancy Management experience is essential
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation and safeguarding practices
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work confidently on-site and manage a varied caseload
