Job Description
Senior HR Business Partner Location: North West London (Hybrid)
Rate: £36 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: 3–6 months ongoing
Hours: 36 hours per week
The Role You will provide senior-level HR advice and support to Directorate Management Teams, with a strong focus on complex employee relations case management and HR change initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support high-profile cases, attend senior leadership forums, and contribute to policy development and implementation.

The Role You will provide senior-level HR advice and support to Directorate Management Teams, with a strong focus on complex employee relations case management and HR change initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support high-profile cases, attend senior leadership forums, and contribute to policy development and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR and ER advice to senior managers, particularly on complex and high-risk cases
- Lead and support high-profile HR casework and change management interventions
- Attend and facilitate Directorate Management Team meetings, appeals panels, and joint consultative forums
- Produce and analyse KPI and management information reports on HR/ER case trends
- Advise managers on people management matters in line with HR service standards
- Supervise HR Consultants and act as an escalation point for complex case queries
- Support the review, development, and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Proven experience operating at Senior HR Business Partner level, ideally within a local authority or public sector setting
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR policy, and change management
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and handling sensitive, high-profile cases
- Able to use HR data and KPIs to inform decision-making
