Job Description

Vox consultants are currently for a HVAC technician for one of our clients within the Manchester area.
This role is Monday to Friday - 37.5 hour weeks.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, diagnose, and repair faults in ventilation, plant, and control systems.
Carry out risk assessments and ensure work complies with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and health and safety standards.
Investigate equipment failures and complete appropriate remedial actions.
Install minor works, coordinate with other trades, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Liaise with contractors to ensure safe and compliant working practices.
Support and guide colleagues while developing skills through training.
Communicate effectively with staff and follow operational and safety procedures.

Skills and Experience

Strong knowledge of safe systems of work related to HVAC, control systems, and general construction.
Ability to identify faults, analyse issues, and implement solutions.
Experience contributing to design and build projects.
Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and safe isolation procedures.
Mechanical engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent).
Self-motivated, confident, and able to make sound decisions under pressure.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Experience using facilities management or building information systems is desirable.
