Job Description

Rate: £210 per day (Umbrella)
Working arrangement: Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office (Wednesday)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Compliance Officer to join an Asset Compliance – Building Services & Maintenance team.

The role will support the safe and compliant delivery of gas services, ensuring compliance activity is effectively monitored, property access issues are resolved and required works are completed within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor gas compliance activity and outstanding works
  • Manage property access and no-access cases, working with residents and contractors to resolve issues
  • Ensure required compliance works are completed within agreed timescales
  • Monitor outstanding actions and escalate concerns where necessary
  • Review and maintain information held within compliance systems
  • Check data quality and identify missing, incorrect or incomplete information
  • Analyse compliance data to identify gaps, trends and outstanding actions
  • Produce accurate compliance reports
  • Maintain clear and accurate records and audit trails
  • Liaise with residents, contractors and internal Building Services & Maintenance teams
  • Review how compliance information is recorded, accessed and shared
  • Support teams to use compliance systems effectively and meet required standards
Candidate Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:
  • Previous experience within asset compliance, building services, property maintenance or social housing
  • Experience working with gas compliance would be highly beneficial
  • Experience monitoring compliance data and outstanding actions
  • Strong Excel, reporting and data management skills
  • Experience using housing, asset management or compliance systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with residents, contractors and internal teams
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work to compliance deadlines
